5 Things | You my boo!

It's that time again, time for you all to know 5 reasons I love this man.

1. We had a pretty interesting week or so right? I like that even when life throws curve balls that I can rely on you. I might get stressed and freak out inside, but you calm that down in about 2.5 seconds. BALLER!
2. Did I mention you're a baller? You took care of me while I was in a butt load of pain and that means a lot. Coffee and breakfast in bed? CHECK.
3. You "push" me out of bed in the morning and gently remind me to get up. Thank you.
4. My coffee mugs are always clean and you don't mind doing the laundry.
5. You make my heart happy. It's the craziest thing to have someone that mid-day stops and makes you so happy your heart might burst and he's that person for me.

5 Things

Anniversary style!
Eric, I know that you read my blog. How? Cause I tell you, and you follow me on twitter and this is a little post for you, once a month.

1. You make the best spaghetti I've ever had.. and I've had some pretty bomb.com spaghetti.
2. I like how crazy supportive you are and that we can talk openly about things like me going back to school and big life decisions. These might sound like normal things, but the arguments I've had with others in the past... whoa huge difference.
3. Since I've met your family I've discovered that you come from one of the most amazing families in the world. No joke.
4. My dad likes you as does the rest of my family.. this is big, they strongly dislike most people.
5. Thank you for making me live in the moment and smile. I am pretty good at trying to plan my life away and you pretty much settle me down.

Every month this will happen.. you lucky ducky.

Four Years

Four years ago I met that man up there over kings cup and tequila.. we still have the bottle of tequila -its empty- and since that fateful night in your Tacoma apartment we've gone through a lot of ups and downs. Deployments, homecomings, TDYs and life.

To say that the last four years have been easy would be a lie, but they have certainly been some of the best. I look forward to being with you for however long we are together and I am extremely excited about this new house and spending a very cold winter together. So heres to four years of love and having my best friend by my side. I love you, and always will.

three years

Its hard to think that three years ago I met A and we bonded over a bottle of tequila, kings cup and our mutual love for his bed (sorry dad)
2009, after we first met.
Its hard to believe that you've been my best friend, confidant and a huge motivator for me these last few years. Whenever I feel like I'm not good enough, or when I say I can't you bring up the fact that when I lost my job last December, I had an interview almost every week and got a new job in three weeks.

After deployment #1 2010

The biggest achievement for us is probably having stayed together through thick and thin. We've had our ups and downs, we've had a breakup and we've also had to deal with incredibly silly drama.. throughout three deployments and on top of some of the hardest months of our lives. You've been my rock when things went down the tubes and I can only hope the same for you.
Zoo lights, right before 2011
And now that we're counting up the years together, we constantly get the "well when are you getting married?" question, and while I'm incredibly impatient, you're worth the wait, even if we're in our 30's.. though I hope you don't wait that long!

Happy three years babe, and here's to a few more years of us being incredible.

ps: you kinda smell for deploying all the time.
